Open CJLPP Editorial Staff Positions:
Staff Writer: Is responsible for generating two engaging, high-quality pieces of law or public policy related content each semester. Ideal applicants are strong writers. Legal experience is considered valuable but is not required.
To Apply: Please submit a writing sample (3-4 pages) and briefly describe your area of interest or knowledge.
Blog Writer: Is responsible for generating a blog post every two weeks for the duration of the semester. All types of blog content are welcome, including journalistic-style articles, academic-style articles, interviews with legal scholars, opinion articles and more. Creativity is encouraged!
To Apply: Please submit a writing sample (3-4 pages) and briefly describe your area of interest or knowledge.
Correspondent: Is responsible for organizing and conducting interviews of law professors, people working in the legal or public policy, or anyone that can offer a fresh perspective and explanation on legal or public policy issues.
To Apply: Please choose a person you would want to interview and attach a 500-word biography of him/her along with 5 questions to ask.
Senior Editor: Is responsible for supervising the writing and editorial process for Staff Writers and occasional contributors to the Claremont Journal of Law and Public Policy. Ideal applicants are strong writers who have academic or professional experience in writing about legal issues. Must be able to make a 3 hour weekly time commitment and attend weekly CJLPP Executive Board meetings.

Open CJLPP Business Staff Positions:
Graphic Designer: Is responsible for formatting Claremont Journal of Law and Public Policy content and preparing it for printing. Ideal applicants have prior publishing or graphic design experience.
